Blossoms in Dream

In 1930s Shanghai, young Xian is raised by her single mother, Hui. A chance encounter with film company owner Boss Meng changes Xian's life, as he exploits her innocence and dreams of stardom, only to abandon her when war strikes, leaving her pregnant. Hui, devastated by her own betrayal, dies in sorrow, and Xian's only hope is her daughter, Zhi. By the 1950s, Zhi has grown up and fallen in love with her classmate, Zou Jie, but their relationship faces obstacles due to their complicated family backgrounds.
