Carpati: 50 Miles, 50 Years(1996)

The combination of the Holocaust and the subsequent emigration decimated the once-thriving Jewish community in the Ukraine's Carpathian Mountains. One of the few holdouts is Zev Godinger, the colorful subject of writer-director Yale Strom's affectionate documentary.
